I’m headin’ out of Kansas City this morning on the bright eye amtrak. Will be back in Springfield this evening. It was a short & sweet trip. I feel like I accomplished what I set out to do. I’ll be back here I’m sure. For now, it’s off to the land flowing with milk & cornsilk.

Rode the amtrak last night. Ran into a few rail problems…. You know, 5 freight trains that had to pass and some odd construction issues.. only set the schedule back a few hours. O well.

I did make it to Kansas City though. Palling around with my sis Andrea for a week or so.

Btw, for those who wondered: The road trip back from NC was full of the adventure you might expect. It took something like 23hours to traverse the landscape and all ended well- albeit a bit long for the kiddies. The family is happy to be home.

well well, here we are… we’re about to leave for north carolina. Once we attended church like good christians we shall head out on the road… stopping for a sleep break and arrive at the beach at our private coastal house that has been prepared for us. It’s pretty awesome from what I’ve heard. Our host church hasn’t spared much in the way of providing a comfortable place to stay… More updates on that soon. I hope to do less explaining with words and more with tasty visual rich media blogs.
